The 12 Moons are Muzan’s elite demons, divided into the Upper Moons and Lower Moons. Each has its number rank, with Upper Moon One being the strongest and Lower Moon Six being the weakest.

Basically, the 12 Moons are the twelve most powerful demons under Muzan Kibutsuji's command. They're split into Upper and Lower ranks, with the Upper Moons being particularly nasty.

The 12 Moons in Demon Slayer are the top-tier demons serving under Muzan Kibutsuji. They’re split into the Upper Moons and Lower Moons. The Upper Moons are, let’s say, the 'cream of the crop' and are significantly stronger. The Upper Moons are the real heavy hitters, including Upper Moon One, Kokushibo, and Upper Moon Two, Doma. The Lower Moons, like Lower Moon One, Enmu, are slightly less terrifying but still a handful for our heroes!

They’re the baddest of the bad guys in Demon Slayer, led by Mr. Evil himself, Muzan Kibutsuji. The Upper Moons are the toughest!
