GTA, or Grand Theft Auto, was originally developed by a company called DMA Design, which is now known as Rockstar North. The brain behind this groundbreaking series is David Jones, who led the creation of the first GTA game back in 1997.

David Jones is the mastermind behind GTA. Without him, we wouldn't have the chaotic, open-world playgrounds to wreak havoc in!

Actually, it's a common misconception. While David Jones kickstarted the concept, the whole team at DMA Design (now Rockstar North) deserves credit. It's not a one-man show!
