Nishiki Nishio, also known as 'Serpent,' is a ghoul who initially comes off as a major jerk, but he later becomes an ally to Kaneki. He's known for his sarcastic personality and loyalty to his girlfriend, Kimi.

Nishiki's that dude with the glasses and a bad attitude who tries to eat Kaneki. He eventually mellows out and joins the good guys!

Nishiki is the guy who gets his face kicked in by Kaneki early in the series. He kinda transforms from a villain to a frenemy and eventually helps the protagonist.
