Get Leonidas I if you can. His defense skills really pack a punch against enemy attacks!
It really depends on your playstyle. Leonidas I is a solid pick if you want high defense, but Joseph E. Johnston has great overall utility.
Some might say it's a hot take, but I think Charles Martel deserves a look. His defense capabilities are underrated.
