In Honkai Star Rail, the canon MC (main character) is known as the 'Trailblazer.' You get to customize this protagonist, making your very own version of the Trailblazer who travels the stars and explores various worlds aboard the Astral Express. So, while the 'Trailblazer' is the canon character, how they look and some aspects of their personality are up to you!

Honestly, the Trailblazer's backstory isn't as fleshed out as characters from other games since you're the one filling in the blanks. But that's what makes it cool, it's your story as much as theirs!
