He's the Mysterious Stranger. Straight from other Fallout games and into your vault, this guy shows up randomly and gives you caps if you tap on him in time. Best not to overthink it; just enjoy the free money!

Ah, the mysterious Stranger! In Fallout Shelter, the 'suspicious man' you're encountering is actually the Mysterious Stranger. He pops up at random locations in your vault, and you've got a limited amount of time to find him before he disappears. Why bother? Because clicking on him before he vanishes rewards you with a bunch of caps, that's why! Keep your eyes peeled and your volume up – his distinct piano jingle will alert you to his presence.

Just a tip: don't stress yourself trying to find him every time. The Mysterious Stranger's rewards are cool, but not game-changing. Enjoy the hunt when you can, but focus on your vault's survival first and foremost.

If you're a Fallout Shelter player looking for extra caps or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Fallout Shelter essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
