Desert? No thank you! Too much hassle with the sandstorms and those darn Antlions. I'll stick to the forests and caves, where at least I know what's trying to jump out and get me.

I absolutely adore the desert biome in Terraria! There's just something about the challenge of the swarming enemies and the thrill of finding an underground desert cave full of loot that gets me every time. Plus, the cactus armor and weapons are just fun to craft in the early game. It's like your own little survival sandbox within a sandbox game.
The desert biome is an underrated gem in Terraria. It offers unique resources like the ancient fossils that you can extract sturdy fossils from, not to mention the chance to encounter the Sand Elemental for the rare Forbidden armor set. It's a tough place but totally worth it for the rewards.
Deserts in Terraria are the bane of my existence. Too sandy. 10/10 would not recommend unless you're into that kind of torture.
