Trolli was founded by a dude named Holger Mülhens back in 1948 in Germany. Started off with licorice but hit the big time in the '70s with those iconic sour gummy worms that we all can't get enough of.

It's all thanks to Holger Mülhens, a mastermind in Germany, who birthed Trolli into the world of candy in 1948. They started with the basics but truly revolutionized the candy game when they introduced the sour gummy worms.

Holger Mülhens, the original candy wizard, gave us Trolli in 1948. Now it's run by the Ferrara Candy Company. So, if you're thanking anyone for your sour gummy addiction, it's Holger!

Actually, it was Holger Mülhens in 1948, Germany. But let's be honest, it's the wacky shapes and sour taste that made Trolli famous, not the guy.
