Why are One Piece movies not considered canon?
Most of the One Piece movies are just for fun and aren't meant to mess with the main plot. Think of them as an alternate universe where Luffy and the gang go on different adventures that you won't see in the manga or anime.

Short answer? They don't fit into the main storyline. Oda-sensei focuses on the manga, so the movies, while awesome, are side stories meant to entertain and give us extra, but not essential, content.
Because they're too cool to be just a part of the manga and anime, lol. JK, they're not written by the manga's author, so they don't follow the manga's storyline.
One Piece movies aren't considered canon because they're not written by Eiichiro Oda, the original creator of the manga. The movies typically feature original stories that don't directly influence the main storyline or character development within the manga and anime series. They're like bonus adventures for fans to enjoy without altering the course of the main narrative.
