Servers can be down for updates or technical issues. Best to follow @FortniteStatus on Twitter for real-time info.
Happens to me all the time! Usually, it's just a quick fix and they're back up in no time.
Could be server overload. When too many players hop on at once, things can get a bit jammed up!
It's probably just Epic Games doing some server maintenance. It happens from time to time to keep things running smoothly.
