Great question! Early on, the developers probably didn't focus on gender diversity. Luckily, newer Spyro games and remakes have added some strong female dragons, so the series is catching up!

Ever noticed that? Yeah, the original Spyro trilogy mainly features male dragons. But don't worry, later games like 'The Legend of Spyro' series introduced more female characters, making the dragon world more balanced.

I don't really think it matters much in a game about a purple dragon, but yeah, more variety can't hurt!

Honestly, I think they just focused more on Spyro and his male buddies because they thought it'd appeal more to the audience at the time. Times change, though!
