Make sure your City Hall is at least level 6! Without that, you can't join any alliance.

Sometimes you may not have enough Power to meet the requirements of the alliance you鈥檙e trying to join. Check the requirements!

Been there, done that! Another thing to check is if your application is pending. Sometimes leaders take time to review.

Maybe the alliance is full? Every alliance has a member cap, so look for another one if it's maxed out.
