Maybe you're in the wrong area? Meditation might only be available in specific spots in the game.
Make sure you haven't skipped any tutorial parts; that can sometimes cause issues with meditation. Happened to me once!
Meditation might be restricted based on your current soul power or rank. Try exploring other areas and leveling up first.
Happened to me too! Turned out I needed more Soul Points to unlock meditation. Keep battling to earn more points!
