Why Can't I Talk in Game Chat on R6 Xbox?
It might be a privacy or communications setting blocking your voice chat. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy & Online Safety to adjust.

Have you been banned or muted? Repeated bad behavior (even just a salty comment or two) could get you silenced.
Glitches happen. Try restarting your console and router, then rejoin the game. Worked for me last week!
First, check if your headset is properly connected and your mic isn't muted. Sometimes, that's all it takes!
Check if you鈥檙e in a party chat instead of game chat. Party chat overrides game chat by default.
