So, you've hit a snag with trading on Pokemon TCG Online, huh? Well, there are a couple of reasons why some cards aren't up for trade. First off, if the card's marked as 'Not Tradable,' it's likely because it was obtained through certain methods within the game, like rewards from Trainer Challenge, some in-game events, or from codes that specify the cards are not tradable. It's their way of maintaining balance in the game, ensuring not everything's up for grabs the moment you get it!

Just to add a quick note - some cards can't be traded because they're locked to your account. These are the cards you get from starter decks or those free packs the game hands out. Basically, if you didn't trade for it or pull it from a pack you got with redeemable codes or bought with gems (where applicable), it's stuck with you.

Don't overthink it. Cards you can't trade are usually ones you got for free or as part of a promo. They're meant to start your collection, not to be traded away.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
