Demon Slayer ended in just 23 volumes because the creator, Koyoharu Gotouge, wanted to tell a concise and impactful story without stretching it out unnecessarily. Sometimes the best stories are the ones that know when to wrap up!

It felt like it ended quickly because it was so good and we all wanted more, but the story had a natural conclusion! Wouldn't want it to turn into a never-ending saga like some other series.

I think it ended quickly because Gotouge-sensei had a clear vision and decided to finish the story strong. Worked out great, in my opinion!
