Heya! If your Fortnite name changed without you altering it, it’s likely due to a recent Epic Games policy update requiring names to comply with their community guidelines. Check if your previous name might have violated any rules.

Honestly, it could just be a glitch. Fortnite has bugs sometimes, and names might get affected.

Epic Games might have reset your name if it didn't match their community standards. Another reason could be if someone reported your name for being inappropriate.

Once, I had the same issue. Turned out my name was flagged for being too similar to an existing one. Epic Games gave me an auto-generated new name.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
