They made a remake of Hunter x Hunter in 2011 to better adapt the manga with updated animation and to cover arcs that the original 1999 series didn’t reach. Plus, who doesn’t love a fresh coat of paint on a classic?

The remake allowed for better animation quality and more faithful adherence to Yoshihiro Togashi's manga. Gotta love seeing Gon and Killua in HD!

The original series didn't cover all the arcs, so it was rebooted to include more of Gon’s journey and the Hunter world!
