The switch to MAPPA was a creative decision too. Different studios bring different styles, and the change aimed to keep the animation fresh.

Wit Studio stopped animating Attack on Titan due to scheduling conflicts and the intense workload. MAPPA took over to meet the tight deadlines.

Probably cuz Wit Studio needed a break. Animating Titans non-stop isn't easy!

Rumor has it that Wit Studio wanted to focus on other projects and avoid the burnout from such a high-pressure series.

If you're a Attack on Titan fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
