Crocs have a strap because, believe it or not, sometimes you need sport mode for your feet! Keeps them from flying off during extreme lounging.

From personal experience, the strap is super handy. I鈥檝e worn Crocs while hiking and dancing; the strap kept them from slipping off every time.
