The game needs to cover costs for things like licensing Google Maps data, which isn鈥檛 cheap. Plus, paying keeps the developers fed so they can keep the game awesome!

Why pay? Well, they gotta keep the lights on. Licensing data from Google Maps and running servers ain't free!

I've been playing GeoGuessr for years, and honestly, paying a small fee keeps out the ads and helps me enjoy the game even more. Totally worth it!

Not everything can be free, folks. Supporting the developers with a few bucks ensures continuous improvements and keeps the game running smoothly.

If you're a GeoGuessr player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in GeoGuessr essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
