Ah, the ol' 'mission disrupted' message pops up in GTA 5 when you've wandered too far away from the mission area or if key elements needed to start or complete the mission aren't in their proper state. Sometimes, if you're supposed to meet a character and they can't reach the meet-up spot because, say, you parked a helicopter on them (it happens), you'll get this message. Basically, the game's way of saying 'Get back on track, buddy'.

Short and sweet: 'Mission disrupted' means you're doing something wrong. Either you're too far from where you need to be, or something's not set up right. Fix it, and you're good.

I'll break it down – 'mission disrupted' in GTA 5 is basically the game's way of scolding you for not sticking to the script. You either strayed too far from the action or messed up the mission setup. Happened to me when I decided to go on a spontaneous sightseeing tour mid-mission. Lesson learned!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!
