Why does my Redline Hot Wheels not have red lines?

You sure it's a legit Redline? The real deal from the '68-'77 era should have those red stripes unless it's a rare variant or a later edition where they mixed things up. Check for any dates or marks that can tell you more about its history.

This might be because not all Hot Wheels from the Redline era (1968-1977) actually had red lines on their tires. It's a common misconception! The term 'Redline' refers to the original series but doesn't mean every model had those iconic red lines. Some variations or later editions might not feature them, so you might just have one of those!
