Why does Super Mario 64 say 'No Controller' in Project64?

It might be that Project64 isn't detecting your controller. Try going to the settings and make sure your controller is properly configured.

I had this problem too! Go into the 'Options' menu, then 'Configure Controller Plugin,' and make sure the controller is set up correctly.

Check if your controller is plugged in and recognized by your computer. Sometimes a simple unplug and replug solves the issue.

Honestly, could be that your controller isn't compatible with Project64. Some older controllers need specific drivers or adapters.
