Because it's their role! The imposter鈥檚 job is to create chaos, fear, and doubt among the crewmates, ultimately trying to outnumber them.

I鈥檝e played as an imposter so many times, and trust me, it鈥檚 all about strategy! Killing crewmates disrupts their task completion and helps in seeding suspicion among players.
