I think it's the repetitive plot structure. If you're not into shonen tropes, it might feel like the same story over and over. But hey, the character growth and world-building are top-notch!
As a long-time fan, I can say it gets way better after the first few arcs. The characters and story really evolve, making it worth the watch. Stick with it!
