Might just be time to move on to the full version. Lite's great for a taste, but the full version's where it's at. More levels, more fun, less bugs.
Did you check your internet connection? Geometry Dash Lite needs a solid internet connection for downloading levels created by other users or for updates. If your WiFi's acting up, that might be the culprit.
