GTA isn't cross-platform mostly because of the technical and business challenges it poses. Each gaming platform like PlayStation, Xbox, and PC has its own unique architecture and online services, which makes it hard for developers to create a seamless cross-platform experience. Plus, game publishers might have exclusive deals with console manufacturers, limiting cross-platform capabilities.
