Jujutsu Kaisen is rated MA mainly because of its mature themes, including intense and sometimes graphic fight scenes, depiction of death, and use of cursed energy in battle. The series doesn’t shy away from showing the darker and more violent aspects of fighting curses, which can be pretty intense for younger viewers. Plus, the curses themselves can be quite scary looking!

As someone who watches a ton of anime, Jujutsu Kaisen's MA rating makes sense to me because of its intense fight scenes, themes of death, and overall dark vibe. It's all in good fun for us older fans, but might be a bit much for the younger crowd.
It's the blood and violence, folks! Jujutsu Kaisen doesn't hold back on the gore or the dark themes. Definitely not your Saturday morning cartoon.
