Servers might be overloaded. Happens a lot with popular games, especially ones still in Early Access. Give it a bit, then try again.
Might be a sign to take a break! But seriously, server issues or bugs could be at play. If it persists, reach out to the dev's support team. They're pretty responsive from what I've seen.
Game crashed? Just reboot your system. Fixes 99% of my game issues, Lethal Company included.
