Why is it in Japanese? Because it’s originally from Japan, duh.
It's because you're watching the default subbed version, which keeps the original Japanese voices for authenticity. You can change to the English dub in the settings if you prefer.
It’s in Japanese because anime is originally created in Japan. Funimation gives us options to enjoy it as it was first released or dubbed!
Just change the language settings. Most anime on Funimation defaults to Japanese, but dubs are available too.
