Why is my mic not working on Rec Room PC?

Rec Room doesn't steal your data, but sometimes it's just buggy. Wait it out or reinstall.
Make sure your PC's privacy settings for the microphone are set to allow Rec Room to access it. If those settings are off, no game will hear a peep out of your mic.
Did you check if you accidentally muted yourself in the game or on your headset? Happened to me once, spent hours troubleshooting only to find out I hit the mute button on my headset without noticing. Facepalm moment!
