Your Xbox controller might be blinking because it’s not properly synced with the console. Press the sync button on both the console and the controller to fix it!

The blinking usually means it's searching for a connection. Make sure your console is turned on and close enough. Could also be interference from other devices.

Hot take: Sometimes new batteries are bad. Try another set before you panic.

Blinking could mean your controller’s firmware needs an update. Connect it to the console with a USB and check for updates.

I had the same issue. Turned out my batteries were not aligned properly. Double check that they’re in right!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
