Your Xbox isn't becoming self-aware! It's likely the Narrator or Cortana feature is enabled. Check your settings to turn it off.

That talking you're hearing? It's the Narrator feature. Go to Settings and shut it off.

Sounds like you might have Narrator turned on. Go to Settings > Ease of Access > Narrator to toggle it off.

Happened to me too! Turns out I accidentally turned on Narrator. Just head to Settings and disable it under Ease of Access.

Hot take: Your Xbox is just showing you some love! But if you want some peace and quiet, check the Narrator settings.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
