Naruto's new design in Boruto reflects a more mature and experienced Hokage, but yeah, that dad bod and those whiskers make him look a bit rougher!

I think they made Naruto's design more realistic to show how he's aged and the stress of being Hokage. Plus, not everyone can stay a teenage heartthrob forever!

Hot take: I don't think Naruto looks ugly. He just looks like a dad who's seen some stuff and is dealing with it!

Naruto's appearance in Boruto does show the passage of time. He's no longer the young ninja from Naruto Shippuden, and his look reflects his new responsibilities and age.
