It's not that Naruto is weak; it's just that the new generation, including Boruto, is getting stronger and taking the spotlight.
Naruto isn't really weak in Boruto鈥攈e's just a dad now! He's got dad duties and Konoha to run, so he doesn't go all out in most fights.
