It happens sometimes that the item shop goes empty due to a glitch or a server issue. If it stays empty for a while, try restarting your game or checking Fortnite's status page.

The item shop in Fortnite might be empty because Epic Games is updating it. Check back in a few minutes!

I've seen this happen when Epic Games is preparing to add new items. Just give it some time!

Could be a temporary bug! Restarting the game usually fixes it.
