Most of the time, it's your internet connection. Try plugging in with an ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi.

Xbox Cloud Gaming can be laggy because of your internet connection. Make sure you're on a stable, high-speed network!

I had lag too, until I upgraded my internet. Faster speeds and lower latency might help.

I've found that using a wired Ethernet connection instead of WiFi significantly reduces lag when using Xbox Cloud Gaming. Give it a shot!
