Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is actually a prequel to the main Jujutsu Kaisen series, focusing on Yuta Okkotsu instead of Yuji Itadori. It's all about the events that happened before Yuji chowed down on that cursed finger. So, no Yuji because he wasn't in the sorcerer scene yet!

JJk 0 is like the appetizer before the main course. It sets up the world without Yuji. Think of it as the story wanting to show off its roots before Yuji became the main dish.
