Why Isn't My Vertical Connector Opening in Subnautica?
It might be a bug. Save your game, restart Subnautica, and see if that fixes the issue. Worked for me last week!

Make sure the vertical connector is properly aligned with the rest of your base. Sometimes it just doesn't snap right! If that doesn't work, try deconstructing and rebuilding it.
Are you sure you鈥檙e using the right component? The devs sometimes tweak things in updates, so double-check your build menu!
Check that you have nothing blocking the connector like terrain or other objects. You wouldn't believe how often a stubborn rock gets in the way.
