Season 2 covered the 'Entertainment District Arc,' which is shorter than other story arcs in the manga. They didn't want to drag it out unnecessarily.

Personal experience here: Season 2 was short due to the manga's arc length, and I think they nailed the pacing. Less filler, more killer!

Sometimes it's better to keep it short and sweet rather than stretching thin content. Season 2 did just that and delivered a tight, impactful story.
