Horimiya felt rushed because the anime had to compress a lot of the manga's content into just 13 episodes. They skipped some arcs and secondary character development to fit the main story in.

I read the manga before watching the anime, and I think the anime moved quickly to wrap up the storyline neatly within 13 episodes. Still, it did a great job with the main plot!
