Facebook sometimes restricts accounts that have sent a lot of friend requests without getting accepted. Try waiting a few days before sending more requests.
It's probably a sign they're not ready for all the amazing updates you'd share!
From my experience, Facebook gets finicky if someone's reached their friend limit or if you've sent too many requests in one day. Sometimes taking a break and trying later helps.
Maybe they've turned on a setting to only get friend requests from mutual friends. Sometimes privacy settings can be strict like that.
