I had the same issue! I checked my internet connection, and it turned out the Wi-Fi was being a bit lazy.
Sometimes, your Roku needs a software update. Head to Settings > System > System update and see if that fixes things.
Once, I had to uninstall and reinstall the new channel. Worked like a charm! Maybe give that a go.
Check your internet connection. A weak signal could be the culprit here, making your channels go on a 'sit-down' strike.
