Your internet connection might be the culprit. Try restarting your router and see if that helps.

Sometimes, Nintendo's servers can be down for maintenance. Check their official server status page to see if this might be the case.

First things first, make sure your Nintendo Switch is actually connected to Wi-Fi! Sounds obvious, but it happens, lol.

It could be a NAT type issue. Splatoon 2 generally prefers NAT Type A or B. Check your Switch's internet settings to see your NAT type.

In my experience, sometimes the Switch just needs a good ol' restart. Turn it off and back on again!

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
