Will GTA 6 Use Unreal Engine 5?
Nah, Rockstar Games has its own beast of a game engine known as RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine). It's what they've used for their previous titles, including GTA 5. Considering how much they've invested in it, it's pretty unlikely they'll switch to Unreal Engine 5 for GTA 6. They're all about that custom-built magic to bring their vast, detailed worlds to life.

Nope. RAGE all the way.
I doubt it. Rockstar likes to roll with their own tech. Plus, Unreal Engine 5, while amazing, might not fit the specific needs Rockstar has for GTA 6, especially when it comes to their signature massive open worlds and intricate detail.
Would be cool, but highly doubtful.
I'm gonna go against the grain here and say we shouldn't completely rule out the possibility of GTA 6 using Unreal Engine 5. Technology changes and maybe, just maybe, they want to try something new. But yeah, officially, no word on that.
