They got a '1st Edition' stamp on them, easy peasy. If it ain't got it, it ain't first edition. Simple as that.

I once bought a card thinking it was a 1st edition because it looked old and cool. Turns out, without that tiny '1st Edition' stamp below the picture, it's just an old card. Make sure to check for that stamp!
