It's basically a fancy ball for the extra-terrestrial Pokémon. Works great on Ultra Beasts, not so much on your garden-variety Rattata.

Honestly, it's more of a collector's item than anything. Ultra Beasts aren't that hard to catch with regular balls if you know what you're doing.

The Beast Ball in Pokemon Scarlet is a special type of Poké Ball that's specifically designed for catching Ultra Beasts, which are unique and rarer Pokémon found typically in post-game content or special events. It's got a higher catch rate than standard Poké Balls when it comes to Ultra Beasts, but, ironically, it's less effective on regular Pokémon. So, save it for those special encounters!
