If you accidentally knock out a Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet, don't panic! The game gives you a second chance. Legendary Pokemon will respawn after you defeat the Elite Four again, or sometimes just by leaving the area and returning after a while. So, you'll have another shot at catching them!

Just wait it out. Legendary Pokemon in Scarlet aren't gone for good if you knock them out. They'll come back, so just be patient and check back after completing some more of the game.

Honestly, it's not even a big deal. I knocked out a Legendary, freaked out, but then found it respawned later. Game's pretty forgiving.
