What is JP in GTA Online?

JP in GTA Online stands for Job Points. They're basically a score you get from completing jobs like missions, races, and deathmatches. The more jobs you finish, the more JP you rack up. They're used to break ties if players have the same score in a playlist and to show off who's the most active player in a session. So basically, think of it as GTA's way of giving you bragging rights!

From my experience, JP (Job Points) is kinda like arcade tickets. You do stuff, get points, but instead of trading them for a giant teddy bear, they just help decide who's on top in case of a tie in competitive playlists. Also, they make you look cool, or at least busy, in your current lobby.

JP is just a number that doesn't really affect gameplay much. It resets when you leave a session, so don't stress over it too much.
